Dr Brian Geller qualified in Family Medicine in 1994. He has spent the majority of his career in rural and remote Canada. He has worked internationally supporting rural and remote care. The College of Family Physicians of Canada has recognised Dr Geller as having enhanced skills in Family Practice Surgery and Emergency Medicine. While in active practice he obtained an MBA. He applied his skills as a physician and executive by working with the Society of Rural Physicians to develop a rural focussed medical school in Nepal, serving as the Director of Physician Affairs for the Saskatchewan Medical Association, and Program Director of Enhanced Skills and Family Medicine training programs in Saskatchewan. Dr Geller has also acted as a consultant to the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and Post Graduate Dean of Medical Education at the University of Saskatchewan. Kyle McDonald (CMPC, HPC, PhD (can.))
Kyle McDonald is the owner and operator of Competitive Will Performance Consulting (Competitive Will). Competitive Will designs high-performance curricula and frameworks focused on developing strong team cultures through psychological assessment, mental skills training, and emotional intelligence development. The organization’s philosophy around leadership, communication, group facilitation, and individual development provides a foundation for resilience in high-performance environments.
Kyle currently works with several organizations both within and beyond sport. He serves as a Draft Consultant – Mental Performance with the Utah Mammoth (NHL), oversees and integrates the mental performance program for the Prince Albert Raiders (WHL), and is the Director of Performance for the SJHL’s Weyburn Red Wings. Across these roles, Kyle supports athletes and prospects in building individualized development plans aligned with their best version—both on and off the ice. His work emphasizes motivational interviewing, psychological scouting, and mental performance development to strengthen mindset and enhance performance under pressure. Most recently, Kyle partnered with Hockey Saskatchewan to launch an athlete development model focused on resilience in youth sport.
Previously, Kyle was the lead mental performance consultant for Canada’s National Para Ice Hockey Team. He designed and implemented a comprehensive mental skills initiative aligned with the team’s Gold Medal Profile and individual performance planning throughout the four-year quadrennial leading into the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games. This integrated approach supported athlete, next-generation, and coach development, contributing to innovation and sustained performance.
In 2020–2021, Kyle was awarded an Innovation 4 Gold (I4G) for his continued work in athlete profiling and mental performance programming. Alongside his work with the Para team, he also contributed to Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence.
In addition to team-based consulting, Kyle works with individual athletes and business executives to cultivate best versions within and beyond their craft. He is a sessional instructor and PhD candidate at the University of Regina, where his research focuses on high-performance psychology frameworks. Kyle is a member of the Sport Medicine Council of Saskatchewan, a Sport Science Canada High Performance Practitioner, a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), and a former member of the Managing Council for the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA).

Daysha Shuya

Daysha is a Sport Physiotherapist, accredited with the International Association of Sport Physical Therapy. Daysha also has an M.Sc. in Kinesiology with a focus on injury prevention through the concept of physical manifestation of emotion. In 2015, she completed a transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
She is certified in both traditional acupuncture for musculoskeletal dysfunction and 3 different styles of dry needling. Daysha completed a 200 hour yoga instructor course while she lived in a monastic Ashram in 2006. As her free spirit shines through, she has worked in 6 different countries with football teams as well as the Supervisor of Performance Medicine for Cirque du Soleil. She spent almost a decade with the U of R Rams, as well as several season with Regina Thunder, U of R Athletics and several Canada Games.
She helped adapt curriculum as she instructed for the International K-Taping Academy from 2011-2017, teaching health care professionals across Canada proprioceptive taping techniques. She has taught over 50 courses as a sessional lecturer for the U of R in Anatomy, Physiology, as well as Care & Prevention of Athletic Injuries.
Daysha’s personal background in dance, martial arts and cheerleading- all at National levels, helped form the basis for her treatment style. Her hands-on treatment approach, combined with movement analysis and exercise prescription, is something she loves to provide. The clinic really is one of her happy places!
